How It Works
To make your Camping Gear Order
1. Select The Right Tent to Hire
Look at the Tent Hire pages and consider what will suit your party size.
Prices are dependent on how long you require the tent – the hire period is counted from the day the equipment is delivered to your address to the day it is picked up from you. This will be longer than the days you are booked onto your chosen campsite. We recommend that you take delivery of your hire order 1-2 days before you intend to camp – this will give you time to check it over, read through pitching instructions calmly – better still, have a dry run in the garden.

2. Choose the Camping Equipment Essentials
Choose from our range of camping equipment basics to enhance your camping experience, and add these to your order.
3. Go to Your Order page
A summary of the items you have selected for hire and purchase will be shown.
Select the exact dates you require the hire order of the tent (if applicable) to run from and to. This should correspond with the price bands you have selected for the tent(s) in the hire order. Complete all the usual contact details and submit.
4. Order Confirmation and Payment
Your order will be processed within 1 business day (usually less).
Note, due to the limited availability of used camping gear, we will need to confirm back to you if we have your requested items still in stock.
You will receive a confirmation email of your order and will be directed to a secure payment page. If an adjustment to your delivery charge is required (either due to the weight being over 25kg or your address being local to us, we will make the amendment manually at this point – see Delivery section below).
Once you have made your payment, sit back and start planning what else you need for your camping trip. See packing list for some help.
5. Deposit for Tent Hire and Delivery
When a hire order is made along with items for purchase, all will be delivered together to suit your hire dates.
If you have purchased camping items only, they will be despatched within 48 hours of receiving payment. We use 24-hour courier services, to ensure you receive your items promptly.
If a tent hire is included in your order, you will receive an email from us one week before the start of your hire, requesting credit card details which will be held by us to cover us, in case of damage or non-return of equipment. We cannot release your order until we receive these details from you, so please be sure to get this done in time. You can do this securely online or if you prefer you can phone your details through on 01737 306036 in normal working hours and they will be loaded into a secure encrypted environment, in accordance with Data Protection Policy.
Delivery costs £9.95 – this is for any number of items weighing up to a total of 25 kg, and thereafter there is an additional £1.00 charge for every additional 4 kg or part thereof.
For hire items, an additional £9.95 will be charged for the courier to collect the tent from you after your hire. Larger tents (over 25kg) will cost slightly more.
For orders in Redhill or Reigate (local to us) delivery is charged at £2.95 (and that includes collection in the case of hire items)
The special delivery details entered on your hire order will be forwarded to our partner courier service. A text or email is sent on the day of delivery to remind you to expect the items.
6. Packing and Collection
Your tent hire order will be sent to you in strong packaging which is suitable for re-use. Please ensure you open it carefully as you will need to repack it in order to send it back to us.
